Football club Vojvodina and Steel Impex today signed a cooperation agreement according to which this company from Petrovaradin became a sponsor of the Old Lady.
Steel Impex represents the leader on the Serbian market in the recycling of metal waste, and since its establishment at the beginning of the 21st century, it has developed over time into a modern recycling center. During 2019, Steel Impex becomes part of the Austrian Black Gold holding, which from today is part of the sponsor pool of FK Vojvodina.
The president of the Old Lady Dragoljub Zbiljić expressed satisfaction with this cooperation and reminded that it is another sign that Vojvodina is getting stronger.
– This is another important day for our club, the company Steel Impex recognized the development of football in Novi Sad. As I have said so far, without a strong and powerful Vojvodina, there is no strong Serbian football either. This was precisely the main reason why Steel Impex wants to be a part of this big project, which in the future should bring us great and serious results, both on the domestic and international stage. I would like to mention once again that this is our zero year, when we start with serious strengthening at all levels, both in the team and within the club. We expect the results of the previous works only from next year, but it is far from that that means we are giving up on this season. It is important for us to enter the continuity of performances in Europe and to raise the ladder from year to year and achieve more serious results and thus place ourselves at a high place on the European football map – said Dragoljub Zbiljić.
The director of the company Steel Impex Maja Živković also expressed her satisfaction.
– As a company that has its headquarters and has been operating in Novi Sad for 12 years, we wanted to be with the local club and support it. We want to support Vojvodina because it is from our city and because we support it. We wish Voša much happiness and success and to look forward together in the coming years – stated the director of the company Steel Impex Maja Živković.
