Vojvodina goalkeeper Nikola Simić is satisfied with his return to the goal after a several-month break due to injury.
In today’s preparatory match against Altay, Simić was part of the team that played the first 45 minutes, which were his first since September.
– We are satisfied after two difficult trainings, we played well, unfortunately, we conceded that goal before the end of the game. We continue to work – said Simić.
He didn’t have much to do today, but in the very finish of the first half, he stopped the shot from close range and saved the Old Lady’s net.
– I am glad to be back, a long and difficult period of recovery is behind me. Now I am here with the team and I am happy – Simić pointed out.
The goalkeeper of Vojvodina singled out the goals of the team until the end of the season.
– We have our goals this year as well, and that is placement in Europe and trophy in the Serbian Cup – concluded Nikola Simić.
The next preparatory match, Old Lady will play on Tuesday, when its rival will be the Ukrainian Zorya.
