The central back of Vojvodina, Siniša Saničanin, announced the return to the winning track in the upcoming match against Zlatibor.

Vojvodina lost away to Rad in the last round, and Saničanin does not hide that his team was surprised by such an outcome.

– We are playing with a team that is at the bottom of the table and it is clear that we are the favorites. We do not run away from the fact that we are expected to win every game, because we influenced that with our performance and results. We want three points and in some way to justify the defeat by Rad. We did not expect that defeat and we hope that we will enter the winning series again – said Saničanin.

The central defender of the Old Lady also commented the draw in the Serbian Cup, which “brought” Partizan to Novi Sad.

– We are satisfied with the draw because we play at home, and that was very important to us. Anything can happen, the game is played for 90 minutes, one detail can determine the match. The cup is specific, but we have shown that we know how to play that system and to be careful of the smallest mistakes, and to use them against our rivals – Saničanin points out.

He has no doubt that Vojvodina should record as many victories as possible and be third on the table at the end of the championship.

– By the end of the championship, we want as many victories as possible, although we are in some way insured when it comes to placement in Europe. However, a good game and victories will mean that we finish the season in the right way, and a new trophy in the Serbian Cup would be an incredible success – Saničanin emphasized.

Central back of Voša has established himself in his national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the recent national team break, he had the opportunity to play against Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann, who are considered the best strikers in the world.

– I am satisfied with my games in the national team jersey. My teammates are top footballers who play in big clubs and they helped me a lot to be at the highest level. However, it remains a pity that we did not take all three points against Finland, because we were better. It was not easy against the French, but I think that we closed them well and neutralized the strongest weapons. However, players like Mbappé and Griezmann are world class and can solve the match with one move. Unfortunately, that is exactly how they beat us – concluded Siniša Saničanin.
