Vojvodina coach Milan Rastavac is optimistic before the derby with Red Star.

The Old Lady will host a great rival on Thursday from 6:55 PM, and Rastavac believes that his team has nothing to lose in this duel.

– I believe that there is a game ahead of us in which Vojvodina has nothing to lose and can gain a lot. We have the task of creating a strong collective in one period, and by that we mean the team on the field, but also all the structures within the club that should function at a high level. I see this game as a test of the strength of our collective, our administration, team and fans. I wouldn’t say much about the Red Star team, which showed its quality. The main players of Red Star are known to all of us. The Vojvodina team has its ups and downs, but we also believe that in the attacking part of the team we have players that we can use more, just like in the defensive phase. Our goal is to reach that level where we can respond to every rival, with a winning attitude and the desire to win points. Those points carry the same weight both against Red Star and against another rival. You need to play good football and get the opportunity to win those points in every match – said Rastavac.

He believes that the better results this season have influenced his team not to think about the negative tradition against Red Star.

– I believe that with the good results since the beginning of the season, we have somehow gotten over those looks to the past and that we can turn to ourselves. At the same time, this is also a good test for us to see if we have overcome some things. I believe we are, but we need to show it on the field. There is that weight that matches with those rivals with whom we have a negative balance, but I believe that we can overcome it tomorrow – emphasized Rastavac.

The Old Lady coach expects certain rotations in the Red Star team, and he also announced changes in his team.

– I expect that Red Star will rotate the team, but I don’t know in which direction, so I don’t want to burden ourselves with that. When we position ourselves in such a way to oppose a significant and high level, then we don’t care who we play against. There will be rotation in our team before every game, because the schedule requires it. On the other hand, as much as we prepare for each match, we have the task of training as many players as possible for that general idea in the game of Vojvodina and on some long-term plan. The weakness of Red Star can be the rapid transformation that they tend to defend in some moments. Simply, you have to surprise Red Star with something if you want to beat her. We can get there through a solid and aggressive defense – concluded Milan Rastavac.

Tickets at a price of 1,000 (west) and 500 dinars (north and south) will be sold according to the following schedule:

Wednesday: in the premises of the GIGS TIX company in the Pariski Magazin shopping center (Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 12), from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., tickets for the west and south can be purchased; in the Vojvodina fan shop on the western stand of Karađorđe, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., it will be possible to buy tickets for the north.

Thursday: tickets for the west can be purchased at the box office between the south and west Karađorđe stands, from 4 p.m. until the start of the match; at the box office on the south stand (next to the former tennis courts), from 4 p.m. until the start of the match, tickets for the south can be purchased; in the Vojvodina fan shop on the western stand of Karađorđe, from 4 PM to 6:45 PM it will be possible to buy tickets for the north.

The eastern stand will be reserved exclusively for football schools from Novi Sad and the surrounding area, to which tickets will be distributed by the football club Vojvodina, as well as for owners of season tickets for that stand and all those who in the previous period joined Voša’s action under the slogan “You are our first love”.

Football club Vojvodina specifically mentions that, for security reasons and in agreement with the police, it was decided that the western, eastern and northern tribunes will be reserved for Vojvodina fans, while the southern tribune is reserved for visiting fans. People with FC Red Star insignia will not be allowed to enter the west, east and north stands of the stadium.
