Vojvodina coach Dragan Radojičić thinks that his team lacked the luck to win at least one point tonight against Čukarički.
The Old Lady was defeated tonight on Radojičić’s debut, after the turnaround, with the result 1-2, and coach of Voša pointed out that he would do everything to return his team to where it belongs.
– We were unlucky, and we couldn’t count on all the players. I did not want to risk Čović, because he has completed the transfer to China, and Simic fell ill before the game. However, we accepted that and went out on the field to fight. The guys who played did their best. Čukarički used his quality and two of our carelessness in defense, while we were not a little lucky. We didn’t want the ball to enter the goal from half a meter. It is a pity that we were defeated, we deserved to remain at least undefeated after everything that happened to us before the match. This young team deserves support, not criticism from the stands like tonight. I will stand by my players as if I have been here for years, because Vojvodina is my club. We will die for the Vojvodina jersey. I will give the last atom of strength, all my skills and knowledge to return Vojvodina to where it belongs – said Radojičić.
