Vojvodina coach Dragan Radojičić admits that his team is in a difficult moment, but that his team will do everything to achieve a positive result in the derby with Partizan.
The Old Lady is facing Partizan on Saturday, and Voša will try to break a series of three defeats in Humska.
– The match against Partizan is coming to us in a difficult moment, after an unsuccessful three matches, but the player from Vojvodina must always play to the maximum. I expect my guys to play well and reduce the number of mistakes, which were really too many. We lost those three games, but you all witnessed how they came to be. No one can say that the boys were not combative, that they did not try, but again we conceded a goal from the free kick, for the 21st time this season. We are constantly working on it and it turns out that it is not serious for me to repeat that so much, but we are really maximally dedicated to all these details. We hope for a good result, I expect the team to show reaction and the right face. That psychological moment has the greatest impact, when the game comes, everyone is forced to and that is felt in the game – said Radojičić.
He emphasized that he is not thinking about the match in the Serbian Cup, also at the Partizan stadium, which is on the program four days later.
– We are entering this match without calculations and without thinking about the Serbian Cup. Vojvodina as a team must always think of victory and that is why we are first focused on Saturday, and on Wednesday those who “survive” the first match will play. Whoever plays, I want my players to fulfill their tasks, because that is the only way we can hope for a favorable result. Partizan has improved its form in the last few matches, scoring a large number of goals in every game. We will try to stop them in that, we are playing two games in four days, but we are thinking only of this first one and to play the best we can – Radojičić points out.
Coach of Voša still does not know in which team he will play tomorrow, noting that it depends on the physical condition of individuals and tactical ideas.
– Since I became the Manager, every player has been given a chance, some have played less, some more, but this is necessary to strengthen the competition. We brought many who did not have time back to life, and that is proof that we trust each of them. We have two dilemmas for tomorrow’s team, these are players with whom we must first see if they have recovered, because some of them gritted their teeth and played injured, and that is why we will know the team only tomorrow. We did not play in the same starting lineup in any of the games, due to tactical ideas, but we did have a lot of cards and suspensions, and we also had problems from that side. We received cards because of nervousness, because of everything that is happening to us, because at the moment it is not easy to be a coach or a player of Vojvodina, but I believe in myself and my guys and I want the fans to believe in us – concluded Dragan Radojičić.
