A book about the great, one of the greatest in the former Yugoslavia, the legendary goalkeeper of Vojvodina, Ilija Pantelić, as a memory of the greatest aces of Serbian and Yugoslav football, but also as a pledge for generations to come. The great Panta deserved it, a man who participated in the greatest successes of his club (champion), but also of the national team (vice-champion of Europe). Everything from the pen of the great journalist Miroslav Gavrilović. In the hotel Novi Sad, the promotion of the book was also attended by the deputy president of the FSS, Nenad Bjeković, and the director of the A national team, Stevan Stojanović.
On that occasion, the President of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirović, received today the greats of Yugoslav and Serbian football who visited Novi Sad. The memory of the great goalkeeper and man was revived by true legends Dragan Džajić, Nenad Bjeković, Mika Radosav, Stevan Stojanović, Mirsad Fazlagić, Faruk Hadžibegić and Vasa Pušibrk. The President of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirović, expressed his satisfaction that he is the host of the celebrated aces, saying that they are football heroes of many generations.
Evoking memories of events and matches that left the biggest mark in the history of Serbian and Yugoslav football, the interlocutors agreed that the monograph Veliki Panta is a significant work that is a sign of respect and gratitude for everything that Ilija Pantelić, the legendary goalkeeper of Vojvodina, Yugoslav national team and great European clubs, did for our football. The meeting was also attended by the Provincial Secretary for Higher Education and Scientific Research, Zoran Milošević.
