FK Vojvodina president Dragoljub Zbiljić thanked everyone for the congratulations on the occasion of the Old Lady’s 109th birthday.
Today was spent in a solemn tone, first by placing a wreath on the memorial plaque at the place where FK Vojvodina was founded exactly 109 years ago today, and then with an appropriate cocktail in the VIP lounge of the Karađorđe stadium.
On behalf of the club, the president of FK Vojvodina Dragoljub Zbiljić thanked everyone who made today’s day brighter with their congratulations.
– Today we celebrated the 109th birthday of our Vojvodina. It is a great honor for me to represent a club with the tradition of Vojvodina and to have the opportunity to thank everyone for their congratulations on its behalf. Today we felt like part of a big sports family, because we received good wishes and congratulations from all over Serbia, Europe, and beyond.
We would like to thank the Football Association of Serbia and Vojvodina, the cabinet of the Mayor of the City of Novi Sad, numerous clubs, such as eternal rivals Red Star and Partizan, but also Čukaricki, Radnički from Niš, Radnik from Surdulica, FK Voždovac, FK Sutjeska from Nikšić, OFK Budućnost, Spartak from Subotica, then foreign clubs – Sampdoria, Bologna, Dynamo from Moscow, Mielec from Poland, Razvan Rat Academy from Romania. I express my special gratitude to our former players and football greats, Miloš Krasić, Lane Jovanović, Jovan Tanasijević, Miroslav Tanjga, former coach Nenad Lalatović and many others who really made this birthday special for us – said the president of FK Vojvodina Dragoljub Zbiljić.
