The coach of Vojvodina FC, Ranko Popović is proud of his team after the match, with a player less, but is also grateful for everything he experienced at Karađorđe this autumn.
The players of the old lady lost tonight to the team of Voždovac with a player less, with the result 3:2, and Popović congratulated the home team on their win after the match.
- This was a strange game. I congratulate Voždovac on their win, and on the game and everything they do as a club, above all my friend Marko, his team and management. We played the first half with 2 players less, the second half with a player less, we missed a lot of things. But we showed that we know how to play football when we do what we need to do, even with a player less. Unfortunately, we played the larger part of the match without some players – Popović said.
He then confirmed that he won’t be in Vojvodina in the second half of the season.
- Vojvodina always has some plans, but unfortunately, I won’t be there. However, I would like to say, what I experienced in this club, I want each coach in Serbia to feel, at least a part of that. That support from the president, cooperation with the director, everyday life with all the people in the Club and the players…It was a great honor and privilege to be a part of this collective, and if I could have contributed to a betterment of a sort, then I am truly happy – Ranko Popović concluded.
