Players of Vojvodina FC won against Železničar with the result 2:0 in the 8th round of Mozzart Bet Superleague of Serbia.

The scorers for Vojvodina FC were Njegoš Petrović in the 9th and Caleb Sery in the 43rd minute.

Teams performed in the following lineups:

Vojvodina: Rosić, Butean (from 72nd L. Nikolić), Korać (from 46th Sichenje), Crnomarković, Lucas Barros, Poletanović, Petrović, Radulović (from 38th Kokanović), Bamidele (from 72nd Depu), Sery, Veličković (from 64th Mladenović).

Železničar: Popović, Stojanović, Milunović, Milikić, Jusif (from 70th Balaž), Mitrović, Knežević (from 54th Sanogo), Eze (from 70th Lokosa), Jevremović (from 63rd Jovanović), Pirgić (from 54th Grgić), Romanić.

Voša took the lead already in the 9th minute with the goal by Njegoš Petrović. Previously, Lucas Barros passed to Radulović, who was knocked down by Milunović, and the referee Trifković pointed to the white dot. Petrović’s shot was defended by Popović, but Voša’s captain received the returning ball and scored for 1:0.

Železničar fought back in the 15th minute when from the edge of the penalty area, Eze shot but hit the bar. That was followed by a period of no particular chances, and in the 38th minute Nemanja Krtolica was forced to make the first change, and the injured Radulović was replaced by Dragan Kokanović.

A few minutes later, Voša managed to score their second goal. In the 43rd minute, Veličković passed to Bamidele on the right flank, and Bamidele saw Sery on the other goal post, found him and Sery head kicked the ball for 2:0.

Until halftime, Železničar made a few threats through Eze, whose shot from some 20 meters was stopped by Rosić.

Voša had their first chance in the continuation of the game, Sery almost returned the favor to Bamidele with an assist. Sery performed a corner on the right side, Bamidele was the highest in the penalty box, but he head kicked the ball next to the goal post.

In the 64th minute Krtolica decided to refresh the midfield, and Marko Mladenović, a new player replaced Veličković, and a minute later the Old Lady had a good chance after Sery’s interruption and the crowding in the penalty area, Bamidele instead of kicking tried to send the returning ball into the penalty box.

In the 72nd minute Krtolica inserted another newcomer, Depu replaced Bamidele, while Lazar Nikolić replaced the injured Butean.

Voša was still playing carefully, keeping the opponent away from the danger zone and saving their two goals of lead, probably because the team still remembers the last duel with this team when after the starting 2:0, the match ended in a draw 2:2.

From the start until the finish, Voša played responsibly, without relaxing, and in the 80th minute it was precisely Depu who could have scored a goal after a pass by Mladenović. After a center shot from the left flank, Mladenović passed to Depu who shot from the near distance next to the goal post.

In the 87th minute the goalkeeper Rosić shone through, in just one attack he had two masterful defences, first he stopped the shot by Jovanović, and then with a parade an even harder attempt of Grgić.

Voša kept the lead until the very end, there were no result changes, so the Old Lady won for the first time after the match of the 1st round against Tekstilac.
