The assistant coach Milan Mirić believes that Vojvodina lost control in the second half, and that is the reason they failed to win against Železničar. The players of the old lady were leading 2:0 after 15 minutes, but in the end they lost the win, and won only 1 point against the team of Pančevo.
– I congratulate Železničar on a good match, because we played against an organized and motivated opponent. In the first half we showed character and decisiveness not to allow being surprised, but after 2 goals and so many missed chances, we let the opponent come back in the second half. From some reason, we didn’t manage to control the game until the very end, and we received two fast goals that cost us three points. Even though we started the second half well, we lost the ideas we started the game with when we left the locker room. We definitely lost control of the game in the second half – Mirić stated.
He confirmed that Kajević was replaced in the end due to tactical reasons, not because of an injury.
– It was a tactical replacement, because we chased the result in the last 5 minutes – Mirić said.
