The assistant coach of Vojvodina, Miloš Bašić, believes that visiting Napredak in Kruševac is the ideal moment for the Old Lady to return to the winning track.

Vojvodina visits Napredak on Monday from 8 PM in the 16th round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, and Bašić announces the real face of his team.

– We have a tough game ahead of us against a team that started the championship timidly, but has recorded positive results in the last few rounds, while we are in the opposite situation. We will do our best to try in every possible way to get all three points, in order to get back on the much-needed winning track. With this match, we enter the last cycle of matches for the end of 2022, which we want to mark with victories – Bašić said.

This match begins the second round of matches in the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, which inevitably does not mean that it will be easier for the teams.

– On the one hand, it will be easier for us, because we know each other, but at the same time, there have been many changes since the beginning of the season. The transfer window lasted a long time, so the teams were subsequently changed. There were also several changes to the team’s coaching staffs, and it should also be added that the busy schedule of five to six games in a short period of time affects everything. Many more rotations and surprises are expected until the break – said Bašić.

He believes that it is not easy to play under pressure after a streak of four matches without a win and that is why it is important for Voša to start the new cycle with a triumph.

– Pressure in sports is an integral part of our lives, and we have been doing this business for many years, and it is certainly more pleasant when there is a winning streak. These are things that we in the coaching staff, players and people in the club have to deal with, and that’s why it’s most important to get back on the winning streak – says Bašić.

Finally, he announced changes in the lineup, and only Uroš Vitas, who suffered an injury in the match against Red Star, is a question mark.

– It is still early to talk about the team, because we will do two more training sessions before departure, so we have to see what condition the team will be in. At this moment we are counting on all the players, we just have to wait to see if Uroš Vitas will be ready and what is the extent of the injury. Rotations are inevitable in this period. We don’t have much time to prepare for the game, but it is certain that we will do everything in our power to raise our confidence, to enter fully concentrated, aggressive and to do our best for three points – Miloš Bašić concluded.
