The right winger, Mihai Butean is a new member of Vojvodina FC.
He is a 27-year-old Romanian international, playing at the position of the right wing, and he arrives to Vojvodina from the Romanian Hermannstadt, where his contract ended. Vojvodina Football Club had taken an interest in this player in the last couple of months, and negotiated his arrival to Novi Sad.
Butean, who signed a 3-year contract with Vojvodina FC, highlighted that he was happy to arrive in such a great club.
– I am very happy to be a part of this team, of the Vojvodina family. It is a challenge for me, but I am ready to do my best to achieve our goals as a team. I will give my best as before, and I am convinced that all things will turn for the better. I want to win trophies here in Vojvodina, and enjoy with our supporters all the achievements we will have.
Butean spent his career playing for numerous clubs in his homeland. He began his career in Universitatea from Clui, and later he played for Astra Giurgiu, Academica Clince, Clui, Gaz Metan, and Chindia before arriving to Hermannstadt in the summer of 2022.
