The coach of Vojvodina, Nenad Lalatović, is satisfied with the performance and the victory of his team over Mačva.
The Old Lady defeated Mačva today in Šabac with the result 5-2 in the 36th round of the Serbian Super League, and Lalatović praised the team spirit and sacrifice.
– We scored five goals, we could have scored at least that many more. We missed a few more one hundred percent chances. My players did everything I asked of them, and that is to play at this level, to be sacrificed, even though we have secured Europe a long time ago. It was important for us to do it earlier, so that there would be no stress and nervousness at the end of the season – said Lalatović and continued:
– We played well, scored goals, missed chances. We returned to the third position, I would be sorry to be fourth. I won the trophy with my Vojvodina, I am leaving as the coach with the most victories in the history of the club. It will be very difficult for the new coach. If he manages to repeat such results, I will give him and director Kosanović at least 50,000 euros to have for pocket money – said Lalatović.
In the next round, Vojvodina will meet Spartak, and the date of the game will be announced later.
