The coach of Vojvodina FC, Nemanja Krtolica, believes that the victory against Železničar is of great importance for him and his team.
Tonight at Karađorđe players of the Old Lady won against Železničar with the result 2:0, and Krtolica doesn’t hide that it was rather difficult.
- It was a difficult match for us, and each victory at this point in time was a huge imperative for us, and we already talked about that. We scored a goal early on in the game, and then we caught our breath, and before the end of the first half we scored another. In between we had many issues, for 10-15 minutes we were invisible on the pitch. In the second half we did everything to keep the result, and I am glad that in the end we won against one of the most organized teams in the league, if we don’t count the strongest teams. I wish my colleague plenty of luck in the continuation of the championship, and there is no doubt that Železničar will be at a better position than they were in the last season – Krtolica said.
He also commented on the injury of Andrija Radulović, who had to leave the pitch in the first half.
- Perhaps it was my mistake that he started the match, but due to his great desire I didn’t confront his decision. Before that first goal he attacked the depth, and helped us win the match – Krtolica said.
The coach of Vojvodina doesn’t hide that at the newly-renovated pitch of Karađorđe it was far easier and more beautiful to play.
- Even though it was raining for almost 2 hours, you know what the pitch used to look like in such conditions, and look at it today, as if nothing happened, the pitch is perfect. For me personally, this victory means a lot. Imagine if the result was different, how we would feel, and how the fans and the club would have reacted. Simply speaking, every victory means a lot to us. I hope that we will rise again and be better – Krtolica concluded.
