Vojvodina drew 1-1 away from home with Red Star in the 20th round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia.
Uroš Kabić scored the only goal for Vojvodina in the 26th minute.
Before the start of the game, as announced, a tribute was paid to Siniša Mihajlović, a member of the second champion generation of Vojvodina. The President of Vojvodina, Dragoljub Zbiljić, presented the sons of Siniša Mihajlović with framed Vojvodina jerseys with the name of the legend of the Old Lady and Serbian football.
The teams performed in the following lineups:
Red Star: Borjan, Vigo, Eraković, Dragović, Rodić (from 46th Azarov), Mijailović (from 62nd Kangva), Kanga, Bukari (from 62nd Mitrović), Ivanić (from 88th Milunović), Katai (from 82nd Prucev), Pešić.

Red Star took the initiative from the beginning of the game and played in Vojvodina’s half and had the first chance in the ninth minute when Pešić was left alone at seven meters, but he did not shoot hard enough to threaten the well-placed Carević. Already in the 10th minute, Kanga almost overcame Carević in his desire to cross with the help of the wind, the ball hit the crossbar.
Several more dangerous Red Star attacks followed, Ivanić shot, and then Bukari twice more, but none of the shots went into the frame of the goal.
Vojvodina got rid of the pressure after the opening 20 minutes and in the 24th minute, Čumić took a free kick from a long distance, from about 35 meters, the ball flew over the crossbar.
In the 26th minute, after a nice move, Vojvodina took the lead. Malbašić spotted Kabić and returned the ball to the edge of the penalty area, and he sent the ball under the crossbar with his left foot for 0-1.
Red Star retaliated just three minutes later, Kanga sent a long ball from his own half, Katai ran away from Vitas, received the ball and saw that Carević had left the goal line and tied the score at 1-1 with a lob shot.
After that, there were no major excitements in the remaining 15 minutes of the first half, so the teams went to the break with a score of 1-1.
Red Star was the first to threaten at the start of the second half, in the 50th minute after Pešić’s return pass, Ivanić shot over the goal. After that, Vojvodina coach Milan Rastavac was forced to make the first change, Jeličić replaced the injured Vitas.
The home team had the next opportunity at the end of the hour, Kanga shot from distance, Carević made an excellent save.
After that, a somewhat calmer period followed, Vojvodina defended and waited for a chance on the counterattack and kept the rival away from the danger zone. That was the case until the 83rd minute, when Kangwa, in his desire to cross, made Carević suffer, as the ball went under the crossbar, but the Vojvodina goalkeeper kicked it into the corner kick.
There was no change in the results until the end, Vojvodina won a point and now with 34 it still occupies the fifth place in the table.
