Vojvodina Football Club is pleased to announce that as of today Joma is the new technical sponsor of the “old lady”!
The world-famous Spanish sports brand will dress the “old lady” in the next two seasons, since the collaboration has been officially signed until the summer of 2026. This new contract will be the beginning of a beneficial relationship for both parties, as Joma will take the image of Vojvodina to the more than 140 countries where it has commercial presence and will expand its range of international sponsorships, while at Vojvodina it will reinforce its commercial image.
Joma Sport is a Spanish company dedicated to the manufacture and commercialization of sports equipment. And Joma is the most important Spanish sports brand, with the highest sales volume in the world, and in the top ten of global brands. It was founded by Fructuoso López in 1965 and since then its progression has been rapid. Currently, it is present in the market in more than 140 countries and has eight subsidiaries in the United States, Italy, China, UK, Germany, Mexico, Panama, and Brazil.
Joma is present in all traditional sports disciplines. In terms of football, it sponsors more than 300 professional teams worldwide and enjoys a great presence in the highest international categories, as well as the World Cup. Spanish teams like Villarreal CF (two-time Champions League semi-finalist), Getafe CF, and CD Leganés currently wear Joma gear. Outside of Spain, notable teams include Atalanta BC (current Europa League champion), ACF Swansea, Norwich City, RSC Anderlecht, TSG Hoffenheim, Le Havre, and Croatian HNK Rijeka. National teams such as Ukraine, Romania, Cuba, and Honduras, among others, also wear Joma.
It is also interesting that in one period in the modern history of Vojvodina, Joma was already a sponsor of the “old lady” in 2014, when Vojvodina won their first trophy in the Serbian Cup.
Vojvodina FC will be playing in their new jerseys from this weekend, that is, in the first round of the Mozart Bet Super League of Serbia, on Sunday from 7:30pm in Bačka Palanka against Tekstilac FC.
