It is with sadness and regret that we received the news that Vladimir Isijanov, a long-time member of the Veterans Section of FK Vojvodina, has passed away.
Vlada was, in the truest sense of the word, a true “Vojvodina man”. As a boy, he passed all the youth categories of FK Vojvodina. Although he did not play for the first team of Voša later, he was with his club all his life.
As a sports worker, for many years he was a very important member of the Youth Commission of FK Vojvodina (today it is the Youth Academy of FK Vojvodina). He was also one of the founders of the famous Stevan Nešticki tournament, and he is also one of the founders of the Veterans’ Section of FK Vojvodina. Until his retirement, he led junior categories in the regular competition system and tournament programs.
FK Vojvodina expresses its sincere and deep condolences to the family and relatives of the late Vladimir Isijanov.
The commemoration of the death of Vladimir Isijanov will be held on Thursday, July 13 at 12:00 in the VIP box of the Karađorđe stadium, and the funeral of the deceased will be on Friday, July 14, at 10:30 a.m., at the Novi Cemetery in Novi Sad.
