Dragan Rosić and Vukan Savićević are the first reinforcements of Vojvodina FC in the winter transfer window!
The ex-goalkeeper of Radnički from Niš, Dragan Rosić, was born on September 22nd in 1996 in Užice, and he started his career in the local club Jedinstvo Roads. From 2016 until 2019 he was a member of Mladost from Lučani, from which he was sent on a loan to Kolubara in 2017.
He achieved the first big international transfer in 2019 when he went to the Spanish Almeria, but he left the Andalusian club to go on a loan to Celta B, Fuenlabrada and Albacete. After a three-year experience in Spain, in the summer of 2022 he returned to Serbian football, after signing for Radnički.
During the last two seasons he was one of the best ranked goalkeepers of Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, which earned him the title of the captain of Radnički. He signed a 3-year contract with Vojvodina, and expressed his happiness for arriving to Karađorđe.
- I accepted Vojvodina’s offer instantly, then the harder part was for the clubs to reach an agreement, luckily that also went well. I came here to fulfil the high ambitions of the Club and the fans, and to help the team win, and it is my great pleasure to be a member of Vojvodina FC – Rosić highlighted.
Aside from Rosić, another new member of Vojvodina is the midfielder Vukan Savićević. He was born on January 29th in 1994 in Belgrade, and he started his career in the Red Star Belgrade, after which he left to Slovan Bratislava in the summer of 2015. After almost four years in Slovan, he transferred to Wisla Krakow, after the summer of 2020 he moved to Turkey where he performed to Samsunspor, and his last club – Girensunspor.
Savićević has arrived to Vojvodina as a free player, he signed the contract for 2 and a half years.
- I received the first offer from Vojvodina FC in less than a month, and I felt something, that I should return to Serbia, and to a club such as Vojvodina FC. Voša is the oldest Serbian club with a rich tradition, and I am honored to be here. Even though many people around me were not supporting my decision to return to Serbian football, but I followed my guts, and decided to come back. I am happy to be here and to have signed for Vojvodina, because I heard from different sides that the club has high ambitions, and that also affected my decision to come here. I hope that we will be winning during the spring, and that in the summer we will qualify for Europe – Vukan Savićević said.
The sports director Marko Jovanović welcomed the new players, and announced more reinforcements in the upcoming period.
- After long negotiations, and hard work, we managed to achieve two big reinforcements. That is something we have been scouting for a longer period of time, and we succeeded in realizing that thanks to the agile approach, and the great energy of the president Dragoljub Zbiljić, and the director Dušan Bajatović. And we won’t stop at that, and we are searching for two more reinforcements in the following days – Marko Jovanović concluded.
