Vojvodina coach Slavoljub Đorđević is proud of his team after the victory in Gornji Milanovac.
The Old Lady beat Metalac today after a reversal with the result 3-2, with a goal in the last minutes of the match, which makes coach Đorđević especially happy.
– I think that Gornji Milanovac as a city and Metalac as a club, with these players and an excellent coach, deserve to stay in the Super League and I wish that from the bottom of my heart. This was a difficult match. The recent tradition was on their side, Vojvodina did not win a few matches here and I think the guys showed the right character. We played against a tough host, on a difficult field, we were losing 1-0, then turned it around to 2-1, conceded a goal for 2-2, and again we got up and won and I congratulate my team on that. The match was hard and uncertain. Today God looked at us, we had a little bit of luck, but luck follows the brave and I think we deservedly won – said Đorđević.
In the next round, Vojvodina will meet Radnik on Saturday at 4 p.m.
