The coach of Vojvodina, Slavoljub Đorđević, is satisfied after the first victory of his team in the preparations in Belek.
Today, Voša beat Slask 2-0, with goals by Busnić and Stevanović, and Đorđević praised the character of his team after the match.
– Today, as in the first game, we tried to play high, disciplined and aggressive. In the last game we conceded goals from our individual mistakes, today we reduced them to a minimum, we changed some things and won. The team is gaining self-confidence in matches like this, it has shown character and I am satisfied with both the game and the result. The team is getting ready, Busnić was forced to play 90 minutes, Maksimović suffered a thumb injury this morning, and Topić was injured, Stevanović, Jeličić and Lazarević played 65 minutes each. In the next game, I expect several players to play for 60 minutes each – said Đorđević.
He praised the transfer window so far and pointed out that he hoped that the team would have even stronger competition in the continuation of the season.
– After a period of adaptation and many changes that the team experienced six months ago, the players have adopted many things and we are growing as a team. Now we have four great reinforcements and the competition is even stronger. I hope that the management will bring two more players, because that way we will have two teams, competition in every position, and that will raise the quality of the entire team. We continue to train further, we are preparing, we are raising our form to be real when the championship starts – Đorđević emphasized.
