Assistant coach of Vojvodina, Vidak Bratić, is satisfied with the performance of his team in the victory over Bačka.
The Old Lady beat the home team 2-1 today in Bačka Palanka, with goals by Miodrag Gemović.
– We knew that Bačka is an unpleasant team and that it does not deserve the current place on the table. They have been playing very well in the last few rounds and they lacked some sporting luck to achieve better results. We entered the game with 120%, we played very well in the first half, we dominated, we scored two goals on time and that decided the game – said Bratić and continued:
– We made several changes in the second half, so players who have just recovered from injuries entered the game. Bačka had several chances in the continuation, but we also had two, three hundred percent chances to close the game. The neighbor derby is always unpleasant, this was a real championship game, and now we are turning to the most important match of the season, the semifinals of the Serbian Cup with Partizan – said Vidak Bratić.
In the next match, Vojvodina will meet Partizan in the semifinals of the Serbian Cup on Wednesday at 7:05 PM.
