The assistant coach of Vojvodina FC, Vidak Bratić regrets the missed chance in Pančevo.
Players of the Old Lady drew for the third time since the beginning of the second part of the season, since they played 1:1 against Železničar today.
- We knew that the game in Pančevo would be very hard. Železničar has an experienced team, players who had serious careers. We went into the game with maximum focus, created chances, we stood well, took the lead 1:0 in time. However, after that in the second half you could feel that imperative of the result and the pressure, because this match was very important to us. Vojvodina always aims to play Europe, the players maybe drew back subconsciously, we waited for the counter attacks and half counter-attacks, but we didn’t use them. For me it is impermissible for Vojvodina as the club to receive the goal in the 94th minute, that had to be defended. Still, that’s football, it happens and if it didn’t happen, it wouldn’t be interesting and the audience wouldn’t come to the stadium. Heads up, we have plenty of games ahead, we know our goal and we have to achieve it at any cost- Bratić said.
