Central back of Vojvodina Slavko Bralić thinks that the victory in the next game against Metalac is the only way to forget the elimination from the Serbian Cup as soon as possible.
After the defeat on Wednesday, Vojvodina will welcome Metalac in the 33rd round of the Serbian Super League on Sunday at its stadium.
– The only way to forget the defeat as soon as possible is to enter the new game as well as possible and to close that page behind us with a new victory. We want to keep the third place on the table until the end of the championship, and I believe that we will all be motivated because of that. I am sure that we will all enter the match with the desire to return to the winning path – said Bralić.
In the first part of the season, the Old Lady dropped the victory over Metalac, despite a 3-1 lead.
– It remains a pity for those two points we lost. We led 3-1, we controlled the game, and then there was a fall and we conceded two goals. That is another reason that we have to enter the game in the right way, to stay focused until the very end. We always have in mind both the good and bad sides of the opponent, because the boss and our coaching staff prepare an analysis of the rival before each match. We try to always know how the opposing players play, but in the end we focus on being as good as possible – concluded Slavko Bralić, who pointed out in the end that he still does not know whether he will stay in Vojvodina after the current season.
