Vojvodina coach Radoslav Batak pointed out that his team will be motivated in the derby in Bačka Topola.
On Sunday at 5:00 p.m., Vojvodina plays against TSC in the last round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia, and coach of Voša expects another good game from his team.
– Just like before the last game at our stadium when I said that we have a derby waiting for us and that we will do our best, we showed that with an attractive game with two goals scored. With the same desire and motive, we go to Bačka Topola to play another good game against a strong rival in a real derby from Vojvodina. I hope for a good game and a positive result – said Batak.
He recalled how last season TSC missed out on a place in Europe in the last round, but they trusted their coach and are now in the fight for the Champions League.
– TSC is an organized club and last season they missed Europe in the last round, and where we, my team and I as the coach of Radnički benefited. TSC decided to keep the coach and continue on their way and this season they are fighting for the number two position and a place in the Champions League. How they will enter the match is up to them. We want to show ourselves in the best possible light – said Batak.
Coach of Voša did not want to reveal the plan in the upcoming summer transfer window.
– As a player and as a coach, I went step by step, and until now I paid little attention to that near future. And now, until the very end, I want us to focus on this match, and then in the following period we will analyze and see who we can count on. All players got a chance and when we draw the line, I think the nuances will decide, because today it is not easy to find the right reinforcement. If we don’t count on someone, we have to be careful that the replacement that comes is of sufficient quality. The following days will give us answers to those questions. Preparations will last five and a half weeks, and we will start in mid-June – stressed Batak.
The Manager of the Old Lady also announced certain changes in the team, noting that every player knows what it means to wear the Vojvodina jersey.
– From our first day, all the players knew that we had that imperative, because we were playing for Vojvodina. We have achieved some of our goals. But I think we will take this game as seriously as possible, because it is necessary for us if we want continuity. I want my players to always feel that positive pressure, because this is football and that’s the only way we can progress and represent Vojvodina in the right way. The same players who were in the protocol at the last game are still there now. We will add our youth players Bukinac and Kovačev, because Milosavljević is injured and Busnić has yellow cards. Bjeković has been training for a week without pain and he will also be in the protocol – concluded Radoslav Batak.
