Vojvodina welcomes Voždovac on Saturday, and coach Radoslav Batak announces an offensive game for three points.
After the draw in Kragujevac with Radnički 1923, the Old Lady has the opportunity to continue its winning streak in front of its fans in the 33rd round of the Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia.
– We are getting ready for tomorrow’s game, we had recovery training and not much time to prepare. In Kragujevac, we expected all three points, in the end we took a point and after everything we’ve seen, including injuries and some situations we had, we are preparing for another important game. We’ll see who we can count on, Vitas was injured in the first half, Čumić felt pain in the back box in the second half. The team that won in the last round in an awkward away game in Novi Pazar is coming to visit us. We are fully committed, we prepare the same for every opponent and we will try to make up for those two points from the previous game. We want to win three points before those last games where, on paper, we face tougher opponents. On Thursday, we already have a new game in Niš, so we will have to rotate, because some individuals will not be able to play against Radnički. After all, we will work as before, one to two rotations in order to be ready for each match. From the first day, we only want to get better and I hope that we will be this focused until the end and that we will play for three points in every match – said Batak.
He could not confirm the extent of injuries of the injured players, but everything will be clearer in the afternoon training.
– Today, we won’t know anything until the afternoon training. The doctor was with all the players at the filming, along with Vitas and Čumić, Uroš Nikolić was suffering from an injury from Novi Pazar, but they all wanted to be there and help – said Batak.
Coach of Voša agreed that his team needs to open games better and play away games and points out that it takes time and strengthening of character.
– It’s simply that approach and that desire, and that character, not only at the start of the game, but we have to show character at free kicks, both offensively and defensively. I used to say that the character of the team is recognized by the free kicks. We didn’t have enough time for that, character needs time, to create something long-term, to last and which will be our continuity. And that should be sought in that psychological and motivational part – said Batak.
He pointed out that placing in Europe is still the main goal, as well as success if all circumstances are taken into account.
– If we take into account all the circumstances, success would be going to Europe. We, from the fifth position, want to seek the highest possible ranking and try to enter the semi-finals of the Serbian Cup on Thursday, and if God allows, then to look for a way to the final. However, as I said when I arrived, going to Europe is the main goal – points out Batak.
Coach of Voša announced an offensive game, and it is not excluded that the two attackers will play again as against Radnički 1923.
– In Kragujevac, we wanted to be offensive from the beginning, to be predestined for victory, and after that first goal, when we returned to the match, we had four, five hundred percent chances, which was exactly the picture of that formation with two attackers. We will see tomorrow depending on who is ready, but we will certainly play to win and offensively – concluded Batak.
Tickets for this match will be sold at prices of 400 (west), 200 (east) and 100 dinars (north). Tickets for the west will be sold at the main box office of the stadium (between the west and south stands), tickets for the east will be sold at the box office on the east stand (next to the Ognjište restaurant), while tickets for the north will be sold at the Vojvodina fan shop on the west stands of Karađorđe.
