The coach of Vojvodina FC, Božidar Bandović is optimistic before the match against Radnički 1923.

After the draw against Mladost, the players of the old lady are playing against Radnički in Kragujevac in the 21st round of Mozzart Bet Super League of Serbia.

  • In the last couple of days, we have been working very well, analyzing the previous match where we could have done some things better. However, I believe in the players who continued to train well, and we can only get better. We are playing against a team that wants to play, that is particularly dangerous in the attack, however, at our training sessions I can see what my players can achieve, and it is only a matter of time when they will start functioning as a team. We are going for the win, with all due respect to the opponent – Bandović said.

He believes that the draw at the spring premiere won’t disrupt the plans and the atmosphere in the team.

  • During all our work up until the match against Mladost, I was optimistic. It is inadmissible to receive a goal in the last moments, because we all want to qualify for the Europe, and that is why we have to win matches like this one. If we scored in time, it is certain that the match would have been different. As for the pressure, my players and I have to handle the pressure, because the expectations are high. I am, as I already said, 1000% certain that the results and the better game will come – Bandović highlighted.

  • We have to be cautious when we have the possession of the ball, because they have dangerous counter-attacks. We want to be at our level at all times, and then it won’t be important who is on the opposing side. The desire of the players is at high level, as well as the atmosphere, and I believe it will all show at tomorrow’s match – Bandović highlighted.

He added that aside from the tactical, the psychological preparation is of great importance before each match.

  • I always focus on the psychological preparation, because I believe that is very important. We have to change that mentality if we want to be better, because we have a responsibility toward the management and the fans. We have to fix the winning spirit, and to be competitors from the first until the last minute of the match.

Vukan Savićević returned to the team, while Siniša Tanjga is injured

  • They are all ready, Vukan Savićević didn’t play at the last match because he was out of rhythm, but he is here now. The only one missing is Siniša Tanjga due to a lighter injury – Božidar Bandović concluded.
