The coach of Vojvodina FC, Božidar Bandović was pleased with the performance of his team in the derby against the Red Star.
The players of the old lady drew with the result 0:0 in the derby of the 32nd round of Mozzart Bet Superleague of Serbia, and Bandović once again had only compliments for his players.
- The atmosphere was great today, I congratulate my players at one more excellent performance against the country’s champions. I am especially pleased with the second half, with the possession and the pressing from which we had three or four situations to score. All in all, I believe that we played an excellent match. I would like to thank the fans for their support, and once again congratulate my team – Bandović said.
He pinpointed that at this moment he is not thinking about the finals of the Serbian Cup, where they will also face the Red Star.
- The next match is always the most important and we think like that, so currently we are focused only on Partizan. Red Star has two difficult matches behind them, but we are thinking about ourselves and about our next rival, and not the finals of the Serbian Cup – Bandović highlighted.
The coach of Voša is optimistic before the finish of the season, if his team continues to play like this and created chances.
- We had chances that we missed, but the very fact that we created them is satisfying. Guram and Radulović had only a few training sessions, Vukanović still has problems with his heel, and with all those problems we played very well. We have the reason to be optimistic and if we continue to attack like this, the goals will come – Bandović concluded.
In the next round, Vojvodina is facing the team of Partizan, on Thursday at 5 pm.
