A renowned businessman and a long-term sports worker, Milan Mandarić, is no longer the vice-president of Vojvodina FC. The parting went in the spirit of mutual understanding, respect and friendship, with a mutual desire for the club to continue with the period of stable business, further improvements of the Youth Academy, and development in the best interest of all the members and fans.
During his stay in Vojvodina FC, with his extensive experience, dedication and contacts, significantly contributed to the Club’s functioning. His presence in the management of Vojvodina FC brought a new dimension to the strategic planning and the functioning of the Board, primarily thanks to the decades he had spent building successful sporting collectives around the globe.
- We will always be thankful for everything that Milan Mandarić has done for our club. His support and advice helped us set firm foundations for the future success of Vojvodina FC. Even though he is no longer a member of the Management Board, given that his ambitions are currently directed abroad, the doors of Vojvodina FC will always be wide open for him. He remains our true friends, wherever he may go and work in the future – said Dragoljub Zbiljić, the president of Vojvodina FC.
Milan Mandarić thanked everyone on the opportunity to be a part of the club and the city which he loves immensely.
- Being a part of Vojvodina FC was a great pleasure and honor for me. Novi sad is a city to which I am emotionally attached, and in these last couple of months that I had spent at the position of the vice-president of the Club, I could see for myself that Vojvodina FC is a club with rich tradition and a great potential. I leave the organization on a very high level, pleased with what I had seen during my time here, with the hope that when it comes to the results on the pitch, the club will fulfil the ambitions of everyone who loves Vojvodina. Given the new challenges that expect me abroad, my energy takes me away from Novi Sad, but I will always be attached to Vojvodina. I would like to thank the president Dragoljub Zbiljić, members of the Management Board, players and fans for their trust, great cooperation and support. I wish all the best to Vojvodina, and I believe that they will continue to grow and achieve success that they deserve. Whenever the road takes me here, I will return to Karađorđe to support them – Mandarić underlined.
Vojvodina FC would like to thank Milan Mandarić on his contribution to the club, and we wish him plenty of success in his future endeavours. Vojvodina FC remains dedicated to their vision, with the goal to achieve even bigger sports and organizational success.
