Players of Vojvodina Dejan Zukić and Mirko Topić believe that a victory and a good game against Bačka would be the best overture for the semifinals of the Serbian Cup.
The Old Lady is going to Bačka Palanka on Friday, and then on Wednesday it will meet Partizan in the semifinals of the Serbian Cup, which will also be a replay of last year’s final.
Dejan Zukić wishes victory for the continuation of the series after Zlatibor.
– After the victory over Zlatibor, we should provide 100% of our possibilities, just like on Wednesday. We want to continue the winning streak and win three points and then focus on the semifinals of the Serbian Cup – said Zukić, who is satisfied with his games this spring.
– I got a chance earlier, but from the beginning of the second part of the season, the coach showed me even greater trust. I scored a few goals, added a few assists and it is important to keep this continuity. I know that expectations from me will be even higher next season, but it depends on me how much I will impose myself on the coaching staff – Zukić points out.
Mirko Topić confirmed that he is finally returning to the pitch after the break.
– I have recovered and tomorrow I will be in competition for the team. We are all healthy, we are all training, some players are still weak, we will see who will be ready to play – Topić pointed out.
He believes that Vojvodina has a slight pressure, but he is not running away from the role of the favorite.
– Bačka will be relieved, since it has already dropped out of the league. We are definitely favorites and that is why we feel a slight pressure. There is no easy game and easy points won, and it is important for us to play as well as possible in order to welcome Partizan in the right form. We are going step by step, first to beat Bačka – concluded Topić.
